This was an amazing home! It had all the amenities my family needed for our stay. Centrally located, short drive to downtown, churchill downs, and bardstown road. Also had a lot of restaurants within walking distance including two that were just across the street. David was a great host and was very responsive and willing to answer questions. Highly recommend this place if needing a place for a family. Plenty of room to hang out and sleep a family of five.

This house was truly amazing! My friends and I had a great stay here. There were 6 of us and we had plenty of room for hanging out and sleeping. Plenty of things to cook with, fully stocked kitchen. Great location, 10 minutes drive or less to everywhere it seemed like. And also about a dozen restaurants within walking distance half a mile or less away and a grocery just down the road! David, the host, was super welcoming and responsive. Overall, very pleased with our stay here, would highly recommend. We will definitely be back!

This place was great! The price and location were perfect. We were close to Nulu and 65, which was important to us. The brewery just across the street was a real bonus! By using the air mattress for one of our kids, there was more than enough room for our group- three kids and four adults. The house had great modern amenities, but a beautiful historic style. I would definitely stay here again!

My family and I had a wonderful time. This place is gorgeous and cozy. The beds were so comfy! Very affordable for a family of four! I was really impressed by the extra thought and attention that went into providing all kinds of small personal and kitchen items that might be needed. I absolutely loved cooking in the kitchen and found just about everything I could have possibly needed. My only regret is that I did not know there was a composter in the backyard. I compost at home and had wished I was able to there and didn’t realize until too late. But I’m so happy that recycling seemed to be very important in Louisville in general. Overall, my family and I are completely happy with our stay and would definitely love to stay again.

This house is charming. Large spaces with great character. Bathrooms are modern and the kitchen is s great gathering space. The yard is wonderful.

A warm and stylish property in a quaint neighborhood; walking distance to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and ice cream parlor; easy access to downtown and expo center. Worth a try if you need a property for a group - plenty of room for our group of 7 ranging in age from 10-75.

David had a nice place! He gave quick responses within minutes apart. He is highly motivated to have the place ready on time! I booked this place and checked in next day! The beds were comfortable and the neighbors were very nice. They gave us a lot of local tips. If you stay here take it easy on them... I would rent David’s place again if I’m in his area!

Our group really enjoyed staying in this home. Really cool vibe and great Louisville experience. The bedrooms were quite roomy, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. We visited on a rainy and cooler weekend so we spent a good deal of time in the house enjoying the kitchen and the living room. All of the comforts of home! The Schnitzelburg area of Germantown is quite unique with corner pubs and nearby stores and such. We'd definitely like to return to explore the area more. Thanks for having us David!

This is a great house and unique space with some nice upgrades! Beds were super comfortable, location was great, everything was very clean, and it was a nice plus to have two parking spots since it’s mostly street parking in this area. Quick Uber ride to most places in Louisville and some good spots within walking distance too. Great place for small groups, you won’t be disappointed with your stay!

We had an excellent stay in this beautiful home. The decor was great, the house was very clean and spacious and the hosts had great communication whenever we had a question. This was a perfect location, just a short drive from downtown in such a quaint area with restaurants very close! I would definitely recommend this house to larger groups traveling to Louisville.

David was amazing host! . His instructions to get in the house was very clear, and he was available for any questions. His place was immaculately clean. He was so gracious that he allowed us to checkout a couple hours later than the normally strict check out time because it snowed in the night before. I would stay at his place again!

This house is absolutely fantastic! From the location, to the space, to the amenities, to the decorations, every piece of this house has been very thoughtfully planned. The home is in the Germantown area of Louisville and is surrounded by a ton of great local eats and bars, all within a mile or two from the house. There's even a great Brewpub directly across the street! The beds, pillows, and linens were extremely comfortable and the house was very spacious. The amenities were plentiful and the kitchen has everything that you would need to cook a meal at the house. Plus, the coffee maker is phenomenal! We would happily stay here again and will be sure to recommend this home to any friends headed to the Louisville area. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

The Eclectic Nest was very easy to access and perfectly located for downtown events. It was very clean and we loved the old-world charm. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Louisville!

Great spot. I had to travel for work and was going to be in town for the whole week. Much better than being in a hotel all week. Everything was exactly as you see it in the photos. Such a cute house.

Great safe location! The house is spacious and close to resturants and attractions but overall experience was lowered due to lack of thorough cleanliness. Bedsheets had sand and pet debris. Tubs contained hair. Tables and mirrors was obviously unwiped. Fans covered in dust and ground level dust is left unatteneded under all consols, beds and dressers.

The Eclectic Nest is a really good value for the amount of space offered. The area appeared a little rough at first impression, but it seemed to be completely safe, there are a couple of nice bars right on the block, and it has a great proximity to downtown (short Uber). There is a daycare next door and a church right across the street. The three bedrooms are spacious, there is a large fenced-in backyard/patio, and the off street parking spaces are great. We had a few minor hiccups in our stay, but the owners appeared willing to help out with any concerns. If you’re looking for a good value stay for 5+ guests, this listing is a solid option. I would book again for a similar stay.

Amazing place!! Very spacious with all the amenities of home. We loved the neighborhood and the fact we could walk to eateries and coffee shops. I highly recommend this place and will stay again when we are back in Louisville!

Cute little house in downtown. A lot bigger on the inside than it seems from the outside. Available parking isn’t great for large vehicles but you can make it work. Very quiet at night. Would definitely stay there again
